Based out of Ellington Field in Houston, Texas, the Texas Flying Legends Museum will be flying their growing collection of warbirds each spring to the Dakota Territory Air Museum in Minot, North Dakota. After the warbirds have been on display here for a couple of months, they will be flown to the Owls Head Transportation Museum in Owls Head, Maine to remain there for the rest of the summer. Finally, to complete the third leg of this yearly rotation, the planes will spend the winter at Ellington Field in Texas. This cooperative effort between the three museums includes the following warbirds: the A6M2 Zero "The Last Samurai", the P-51 Mustang "Dakota Kid II", the P-40K Warhawk "Aleutian Tiger", the FG-1D Corsair "Whistling Death" and the B25J MItchell "Betty's Dream".
